i haven't been to ssp in a while, the last times were for that in situ exhibition by soco + to lumenvisum in skm/ssp. My (ex) in-laws live in lei cheng uk, a place i will always remember, for the sense of community, the use of space, the shrines with red electric lights in many people's homes, visible from front doorways. When i first arrived in hk in 1988, those lights were my very first memory + I wrote the poem called 'Passage' about it. you can find it, with a chinese translation, in my book 'delicate access' at kubrick + at library.
