my last time in Shamshuipo was in about 2005, as far as i can remember. Back then, I was shooting a video work with my friend who lived there. Though my friend's apartment is nearer to Shik Kip mui, but he usually said his home is in Shamshuipo.

The work, titled "Waiting", capture the everyday street scene in Shamshuipo in slow motion. it parallels with our subjective perception of the place and reflect the characteristic of the place. In fact, the video is just so-so, nothing really impressive. But it is interesting when i look at it again now, as my friend at that time is waiting for his home to be bought by 田生 at that time. In fact, he moved to other place finally last year.
