i was at the shep kip mei jockey club place to meet Gus Mok last week. i went to see how i could help his organisation (Centre for Cultural Development)and he showed me all the things he was up to. his dedication and energy surprised me, inspired me and encouraged me to think more about how help. a very positive experience, as was meeting again Michelle, who runs the Nueberg space. It was showing amazing work by an autistic artist.
The experience of the building itself was really disappointing. it's not the centre of creative energy it could be, such a waste of space.
Bumped into douglas young too, showed me his amazing collection of HK product from the last century, a one man cultural museum!
